national “wellness” month

Did you know that it is National Wellness month?

So, it appears that it’s time to reflect and determine what “WELLNESS” means to YOU. It’s not just your weight or what you ate for breakfast or if you can run a 5k or if your jeans from high school still fit…

Wellness is personal and specific. It includes your physical and mental health, along with any other category you consider part of your wellness… spiritual or emotional well being count too! It’s up to YOU!

The pursuit of homeostasis is supported via a reflexology session and it is a vital part of wellness. Homeostasis is the body’s automatic process of keeping its inner environment stable and balanced, even when the world outside changes. It’s balancing the inside, so you can work on external balance.

“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” — Buddha

The act of reflexology supports your body’s balance for of your inside systems: nervous system, digestive, endocrine, structural, cardio, etc. The list goes on… your joints, your digestion, your nervous system and more can be supported by a reflexology session!

AND consistent reflexology sessions can help you track symptoms,  concerns, recovery and awareness progress, all the while delivering a relaxing and peaceful trip to the place at which your parasympathetic nervous system stabilizes and relaxes. THIS is where your healing begins and we often don’t visit this soothing place in our daily lives unless we have a very perfect sleep or enjoy quality meditation on the regular.

Be well.
